2025 GONA Training of Facilitators Retreat | Santa Cruz Mountains, CA

**PLEASE NOTE: Attendance for ALL 4 days of onsite training, self-paced online modules, and attending live online seminar is required.

This immersive training experience will enhance your facilitation skills and help you become an effective change agent for your community or organization. This package will consist of three different portions, complete with self-paced online learning modules, a live online session, and 4 days of in-person training.

#1 — Gain access to Online Self-Paced Learning Modules, which will be available in early September. These modules are designed to be completed at your own pace, offering guided instruction to prepare you for the in-person training. It’s important to note that completing these modules is required before attending the face-to-face training.

#2 — Mark your calendar for the Live Online Session scheduled for October 7, 2025. This session will run from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. (EST) and will provide valuable insights and interactive discussions. Stay tuned for the link to join the online event. Additionally, the session will be recorded and made available for download.

#3 — Immerse yourself in the Face-to-Face training taking place from October 20 to October 23, 2025. Held at Happy Valley Conference Center in the Santa Cruz Mountains, this training will offer hands-on learning and collaborative experiences to enhance your skills and knowledge. Stay tuned for specific timeframes for each day.

#4 — Mark your calendar for the Access to the national TOF learning community to promote mentorship, grow skills, add to resources, learn best practices for implementing and grow your network.

***Please note, the conference center has other events happening throughout the year, and drop-in visits are not encouraged without prior approval of Happy Valley administration.

Trainees who complete the program gain access to digital and printed resources, including handouts, templates, PowerPoint presentations, ongoing coaching, and opportunities to participate in learning communities.
