Barack Obama named Groff’s most recent novel, "The Vaster Wilds," as one of his favorite books. "The Vaster Wilds" is a survival narrative that portrays a girl’s powerfully intimate relationship with God, away from the influence of the church.
Groff’s lecture is titled “Art at the End of the World.” In her lectures, Groff captivates audiences with thoughtful reflections on the writing craft and discussion of the influences and inspiration behind her bestselling works.
A public book signing will follow the talk.
