The Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center is excited to host another year of Dining on the Dam! Join us on Sunday, April 6 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. for one of Lexington’s most notable events where over 1,000 guests from the Midlands and beyond come together to enjoy a great evening on on the historic Lake Murray Dam.
Your ticket includes a dazzling evening of delicious food by Southern Way Catering, live music from The Big Time Band, an open bar with cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages, and an exclusive evening to share with others as you enjoy the spectacular sunset from the Lake Murray Dam.
General Admission: $165/person
What to Know:
What is the minimum age requirement to enter the event?
All attendees must be 21 years of age or older with valid identification to enter.
No exceptions!
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable.
In the event of inclement weather, the Dining on the Dam event will be re-scheduled and tickets will be honored on the new date.
What should I bring to the event?
• Ticket (either mobile or printed for scanning)
• Valid Identification (required for entry as this event is for those ages 21 and over - no exceptions)
Does the event have a Clear Bag Policy?
For the safety and security of all attendees, Dining on the Dam has a Clear Bag Policy. Please note only clear bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” or small clutches 4.5” x 6.5” are allowed. One-gallon clear resealable bags are also permitted. All bags are subject to inspection upon entry. Please plan accordingly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Parking/Transportation:
Parking is limited. Due to the exclusive location of the Dam, parking is available at the Dominion Energy Public Parks on either side of the dam and two additional lots. See below for addresses. Buses will be present to shuttle attendees to the entrance of the event.
• Parking lots will open at 4:15 p.m.
• All attendees must board shuttle buses. Any use of the walking path is strictly prohibited.
• Buses will begin running around 4:45 p.m. The event begins at 5:00 p.m.
• You must have a ticket to the event and a parking pass to park in these lots.
• Parking Passes will be sent to all registered attendees.
Dominion Energy Parking lot addresses:
• Lake Murray Public Park (Lexington side): 1832 North Lake Drive, Lexington (located at the intersection of Corley Mill Road and North Lake Drive) * Note: There are less parking spaces this year due to construction equipment in the parking lot.
• Lake Murray Dam North Recreational Area / Irmo Recreational Area (Irmo side): 2101 North Lake Drive, Columbia (located near the intersection of Bush River Road and North Lake Drive.
Additional Parking Areas :
Two areas are available on the Irmo and Lexington side of the dam for parking and shuttle pick up.
Lexington Side:
Pilgrim Lutheran Church: 1430 N. Lake Dr., Lexington, SC (located near the intersection of North Lake Drive and Pilgrim Church Road)
Irmo Side:
Arise Church: 227 Lincreek Dr., Columbia, SC (located off North Lake Drive on Lincreek Dr.)
Can I take an Uber/Taxi/Lyft to Dining On The Dam?
Since parking is limited, and your parking pass does not guarantee you a parking space in the Dominion Energy lots, we encourage attendees to utilize Uber, Lyft, taxis, or carpool. For the safety of our guests, you must be dropped off in one of the designated parking lots. All attendees must board a shuttle bus to enter the event.
Prohibited Items (including but not limited to):
• Weapons of any kind
• Illegal substances
• Framed or large backpacks
• Food or beverage of any kind
• Alcohol
• Cigarettes, electronic vapes, cigars, etc. There will be no smoking permitted at this event.
• Glass containers of any kind
• Skateboards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles (except for people with mobility needs or limitations)
• Fireworks and explosives
• Instruments and laser pointers
• Pets (except service dogs)
• Professional camera or video equipment
• No illegal vending is permitted - no unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are allowed
• Coolers of any kind
