2025 Africana Wellness Conference: A Moment in Time

"A Moment in Time - Embrace the Now. Cultivating Wellness One Moment at a Time"

Join The Legacy Arts Project and Ujamaa Collective for a day of community, connection, and healing at the 2025 Africana Wellness Conference! This free event will be held on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and will feature:This conference is your opportunity to pause, reflect, and embrace the power of wellness in the present moment. Open to all, we welcome you to explore the many ways to nurture your mind, body, and spirit while celebrating Africana arts and culture.

• Free breakfast and lunch
• Adult and youth sessions
• Wellness workshops and demonstrations led by experienced presenters
• Vendor marketplace with unique items and resources
• Giveaways, performances, and maker tables
• Morning Yoga session and a Harambee Unity Circle
• Focus groups on protecting Black women, a special project led by our CMU intern, Haley Wilson
