Benefactor: About Inspiredu
Inspiredu’s mission is to help underserved youth develop the skills needed for education and career success through technology‐based learning tools and engagement activities with their families, communities, and schools.
Inspiredu’s purpose is to bridge the gaps in digital literacy and access by providing our communities most marginalized and vulnerable citizens with the resources and support they need to be competitive in pursuit of education and work preparedness.
Our work has revealed an urgent need for increased digital access and literacy among adults with school-age children, especially as Atlanta’s schools move further toward paperless and virtual learning models. Our initiatives, therefore, support both the future of work and the future of education.
We fill a unique void, as we are the state’s only nonprofit focusing specifically on opportunities to use technology as part of a child’s learning support system while also addressing the challenges of digital literacy, access, and inclusion in Atlanta’s highest-need communities.
