About this Event
You are invited to the Metastatic Breast Cancer: From Surviving to Thriving event, hosted by Fred Hutch Cancer Center. This is a free event for patients with metastatic breast cancer and their caregivers. Attendees will hear medical experts discuss fundamentals of metastatic breast cancer (stage 4 disease), financial toxicity and planning, potential effects of this diagnosis on relationships and sexual health and how to cope, self-care resources and updates on the latest research and clinical trials. Patients and caregivers will also provide their perspectives. In-person attendees will also have an opportunity to record video snippets of their experiences to encourage more discussion and connection within the metastatic breast cancer community.
This event is open to Fred Hutch and/or UW Medicine as well as external patients and their caregivers.
