1) October 28, 2023 7:30 PM | MADE IN AMERICA
Innovation and craftsmanship have long been integral to products created and produced in the United States. And that is especially true of the beautiful and evocative music from America’s composers. The opening concert of our 33rd season features some of that homegrown music, including Copland’s “Appalachian Spring,” Williams’ “The Cowboys” overture and selections from Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess.” Young Artist Competition winner, Hayoon Lee, also takes the stage to perform the first movement of Barber’s Violin Concerto with the orchestra.
Concert Venue: Kuna High School Performing Arts Center / 637 E Deer Flat Rd, Kuna, ID
