20-HOUR Trauma-Informed Foundational Facilitation Training
About this Event
This 20‑hour foundational Facilitation training offers a spacious, holistic, trauma‑informed introduction to the art of holding space. Rooted in cultural humility, collective care, and embodied integration, it weaves together nervous system literacy, interoceptive awareness, empowered language, and relational presence. The training welcomes anyone who holds space — for others or for themselves — whether guiding with presence, listening with their whole bodies, or offering compassion in everyday gestures. It is designed as a place where healing meets learning, and where participants can explore facilitation as a shared, relational journey. Core principles of trauma‑informed facilitation are discussed and explored through clear frameworks that support integration into real‑world practice. Participants are invited into multiple ways of engaging: visual learning, experiential activities, written reflection, discussion‑based exploration, or quiet observation. Autonomy is honored throughout, recognizing the wisdom already present within each participant.
Each day opens and closes with gentle grounding practices that support nervous system regulation, presence, and connection. The learning environment is intentionally spacious, allowing time for integration, curiosity, and embodied understanding. By the end of the training, participants will have practical skills and a grounded, embodied sense of how to hold space through a trauma‑informed, inclusive, and relational lens. Whether you are new to this work or deepening an existing practice, this weekend offers a meaningful, holistic exploration of trauma‑informed facilitation — one that supports both personal and collective transformation.
