Step into two immersive days of color, pattern, and creative exploration at our Quilted Kaleidoscope Retreat—a hands-on fiber art experience for both beginner and advanced quilters.
Guided by renowned fiber artist Mary Hermanson, participants will design and create a stunning quilted kaleidoscope using bilateral fabrics and traditional quilting techniques. From building custom templates to cutting, sewing, and stretching your finished piece onto canvas, this retreat offers time, space, and expert instruction to bring your vision to life.
What to Expect: • Learn 8-slice (beginner) or 12-slice (advanced) kaleidoscope designs • Create custom templates using mirrored fabrics • Explore traditional quilting techniques • Finish your work by stretching fabric onto canvas • Dedicated creative time in a supportive, inspiring studio setting
Retreat Schedule: • Wednesday, April 22 | 8:30 - 5 PM – Design, template creation, fabric cutting • Thursday, April 23 | 8:30 - 5 PM – Fabric sewing, finishing off ideas and completion
$150 for both days (Supplies not included. A full supply list will be provided upon registration.)
