***Session now full but an additional one will be announced soon***Mug time! During this workshop you'll learn how to create a mug by rolling out a slab of clay and forming it into a mug. I'll demonstrate the different techniques for making and attaching handles and then you can use your creative ideas to make a mug that represents your own personality! You can add cutouts, words, use texture or whatever else you can imagine. We should have time to make 1-2 mugs, depending on how elaborate you want to make them.
You'll create the pieces in the first lesson and glaze them during the second lesson. Each lesson will be 2 hours in length. This workshop does not use the wheel and we will create one or two projects.

Skill level: Beginner (no experience required)

Notes about class:
Come a little early so we can start on time, bring indoor shoes during messy weather and either wear clothes you can get dusty or I will provide you with an apron 😊 During each class, I’ll show you an example of what we’re doing, demonstrate techniques and build/glaze a piece right along with you while answering any questions you may have. At the end we’ll spend some time cleaning up together so the class is back to as we found it.
