Welcome to the Beginner’s Groundwork and Riding with Confidence Clinic. This clinic is designed to help anyone wanting to grow their horsemanship and partnership with their horse. You will learn and/or work to improve your basic groundwork exercises and gain confidence under saddle. 2 days packed full of exercises to help you gain trust, respect, and control of your horse’s body parts from the ground and under saddle. Through these exercises you will walk away with a newfound confidence and foundation to continue to grow the partnership between you and your horse! The morning will consist of all groundwork; we will break for lunch and come back after lunch tacked up and ready to ride. Just a few of the many exercises you will walk away with is yielding the hindquarters, desensitizing, flexing, backing and so much more. We will transition these exercises we work on in the morning and teach how to cue and use them under saddle. Requirements for this clinic include rope halter, stick and string, 12-14' lunge line, snaffle bit, and tack. Lunch each day will be included. Cost of clinic is $300.00 Camping and stall reservation is available. $25.00/day for auditors and also includes lunch.
