Welcome to Intro to Mountain Trail Clinic. This clinic is designed to help anyone wanting to grow their horsemanship and partnership with their Horse through obstacle work. In this clinic you will learn how to safely and confidently introduce and maneuver your horse through certified Mountain Trail obstacles.
Through these exercises you will walk away with a newfound confidence and foundation to continue to grow the partnership between you and your horse! The morning will consist of all groundwork and in hand obstacle work. We will break for lunch and come back tacked up and ready to ride. We will build off of
the exercises we worked on in the morning to set ourselves, and our horses up to be able to confidently and safely cross the obstacles under saddle. By the end of the clinic, you will be successfully riding mountain trail patterns and understand what a judge is looking for in competition. We may even get to higher level maneuvers and transitions! Requirements for this clinic include rope halter, stick and string, 12-14' lunge line, splint boots, and tack. Lunch is included each day. Cost of clinic is $150.00.
