Lets do a fun scenic trail we've never done before! This run will feature the 2 bar ridge trail that runs from apache trail out to roosevelt lake. For this, we'll be running it north to south from Roosevelt Lake for more scenic views at the end.
Meetup will be at 8am at the beeline pitstop located at 1601 n beeline hwy, scottsdale. From there, we'll head up the 87 to the 188, and head south to the beginning of the trail. We'll stop to air down/top off at the Tonto Basin Marketplace, before hitting the trail.
This trail is considered moderate, although it looks like it will be suitable for stock 4x4 vehicles with low range and all terrain tires. The trail is 13 miles long and normally takes around 4 hours to do if you take the off chute to the ridge itself. We wont be doing the ridge, so it should take a little less time. Should be very scenic descending down to Apache trail, and we'll follow it south and grab lunch/dinner at Dutchman's Country BBQ.
Please bring a radio for trail comms if you have one. Make sure your spare tire is a full size/ matching size spare.
