2 Band Showcase: Shipwreck Dreams & Tall Slow Birch

Join us for a 2 Band Showcase featuring Shipwreck Dream and Tall Slow Birch.
Tall Slow Birch (7pm) began as a solo project, sometimes, depending on how many friends could show up, and expanded to a 7-piece band (guitar, bass, drums, accordion, sax, trumpet) that plays acoustic punk rock. Their songs reflect personal experience with depression, suicidal thoughts, attempted murder, and living in apocalyptic times, and have been called "funny" and "hopeful."
Shipwreck Dreams (8pm) plays high-energy garage folk and psychedelic rock with influences from all over, plus an accordion. The band is led by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Proctor May, with Michael May (guitar), Joel Rose (Keys) and Mashaal Ahmed (Drums). At this show, they will be joined by friends Matthew Dunn, Richard Nash and J.C.
