Some of you might have heard of a tournament called The Clash… It was one of the most Legendary tournaments in the Midwest. When Reggie Reicks announced his retirement last September, all everyone was talking about was who is going to be running it in the future. Well the future is here , A few of us decided to give it a go and continue the fun with putting on Iowas Biggest Bash.
We are proud to announce the 1st Annual Iowa Bash will be coming to Backyard BBQ located at 2020 Scotty Dr SW in Cedar Rapids Iowa on September 25-27 2026!.
132 teams will be battling it out for their cut of a $13,000 pot. There will be custom trophy boards for the top teams, along with board raffles, bags, brews and BBQ!
What could be a better way to spend a weekend with friends and family?🤩
FRIDAY :
A/C Blind draw starting Friday September 25th. Doors open at 12, Bags fly at 2 PM.

Crew Cup Blind Draw, 2 “A” players and 2 “C” players will be matched up together to battle for these sick trophy boards.

Saturday :
The BIG DOUBLES BASH that everyone looks forward to!!
Doubles starts at 10 AM, doors will open at 8 AM. This will consist of 6 rounds of Round Robin then it will split the brackets into 3 divisions. ONE PRO per team, if you qualified as a Pro during the ‘24-‘25 season, you will be considered a Pro, if you qualify anytime during the ‘26 season, are waiting to sign the paperwork or playing in the qualifiers you will not be considered a Pro. Not everyone will agree with this but its how we are running it and that’s fine …. So with 132 teams at $100 a team, 90% payout with $2000 added means there will be almost $14,000 just in doubles to grab…paying out 8 spots. There will be Trophy Boards for the Top 3 teams in each devisions as well .

Sunday:
BYOP Crew Cup, $120 per team, 40 teams with $1000 added 100% payout. 2 Pros per team allowed, same Pro qualifications as doubles.

We are SUPER EXCITED for the opportunity to run this tournament and keep this Iowa tradition rolling , and it wouldn’t be possible without the help of the amazing staff/owners at Backyard BBQ, our local bags family that helps run these tournaments we put on including Jesse Land Collette Barnes Chad Pegump Valentin Rodriquez and many more .
Nobody can run a tournament like Reggie so we are open and welcome to any help/advice especially with organizing, setting up, and planning this out so this tournament like many others we’ve ran runs smoothly.
