1st Annual Community Pediatric Emergency Care Symposium
About this Event
Welcome to the 1st Annual Community Pediatric Emergency Care Symposium!
Join us for UC Davis Health's inaugural Pediatric Emergency Medicine Symposium, designed specifically for healthcare professionals practicing in settings where pediatric patients may be encountered less frequently or where dedicated pediatric resources are limited.
Our expert faculty will share practical, evidence-based approaches to caring for critically ill and injured children, with sessions covering topics such as non-invasive respiratory support, pediatric diabetes emergencies, neonatal care, pediatric rashes, sepsis recognition and treatment, and more. Participants will also engage in interactive case-based scenarios, hands-on equipment reviews, and discussions focused on real-world application.
As a nationally recognized leader in pediatric healthcare, UC Davis is committed to partnering with our regional colleagues to improve pediatric readiness and outcomes. Whether you routinely stabilize and transfer pediatric patients or occasionally find yourself caring for a child whose acuity exceeds your typical experience, this symposium will provide valuable tools, knowledge, and confidence to support high-quality pediatric emergency care.
We look forward to learning, collaborating, and sharing best practices with you.
