This event provides an opportunity to raise awareness about infant and maternal mortality in our state while also supporting educational advancement through scholarships.

Infant and maternal mortality reflect the health of our communities and can signal preventable gaps in care and access. Raising awareness helps connect families to prenatal and postpartum resources, strengthens partnerships, and builds support for policies and programs that protect mothers and babies. Scholarships extend that impact by reducing financial barriers, expanding opportunity, and developing a stronger workforce—especially in fields like nursing, public health, and social services.
