On 23 October, the 70th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence of 1956, we will gather in Liverpool to pay our respects to all those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Hungary.
To mark this historic anniversary, we will solemnly unveil a commemorative plaque dedicated to the memory of the approximately 2,500 people who lost their lives during the 1956 Revolution and War of Independence.
