Get Ready to Step inside the Parisian Courtyard of our 200 year old Napoleonic Fort which will be transformed into a French Cafe in the 1940s for an Evening of Wartime Entertainment as we take you back in time to Life during German Occupation of Paris in the 1940s - When the Lights Went Out.
Experience French Culture with Historian & Author Tony Franks-Buckley, Live Parisian Music from Martyn McGinty and sit back with a menu of French Food, Cocktails, Wine and Bread. You will enjoy a memorable evening in the Courtyard resembling 1940s Paris Under the Stars
Why did the Lights go out? On June 14, 1940, German tanks entered a silent and nearly deserted Paris. Eight days later, France accepted a humiliating defeat and foreign occupation. Come and Learn about When the Lights went out in Paris and Life under German occupation till the Liberation 25th August 1944
