Celebrate 125 years of Idaho State University with an evening of powerful choral music and poetry.On March 13 at 7:30 PM in Jensen Grand Concert Hall, the Treble Choir, Concert Choir, and Chamber Choir will present a special anniversary concert honoring the remarkable year 1901—the founding of ISU and the birth year of poet Langston Hughes.
The program features music by Averitt, Brahms, Puts, Augustinas, Morley, Bonds, Gjeilo, Runestad and more. Diana Livingston Friedley will perform a set of Langston Hughes’ poetry, weaving spoken word into an evening that reflects on legacy, voice, and community.
