Rodger Levenson, WSFS Financial Corp.We are pleased to announce that Rodger Levenson, Chairman, President, and CEO of WSFS Financial Corporation and its primary subsidiary, WSFS Bank, will deliver this year's keynote presentation. WSFS, established in 1832, is one of the nation’s ten oldest banks and the largest locally headquartered bank and wealth management franchise in the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region. In addition to his nearly two decades of leadership at WSFS, Levenson is deeply engaged in civic and community service, serving on boards and councils including the Federal Reserve’s Federal Advisory Council, Delaware Prosperity Partnership, the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, and the Delaware Business Roundtable.
Another highlight of the Annual Dinner is the presentation of Delaware’s highest business honor—the Josiah Marvel Cup. Named in honor of Josiah Marvel who reorganized and served as the first president of the modern-day State Chamber, this award recognizes a Delawarean who has made an outstanding contribution to the state, community, or society. Recent recipients include the Hon. Thomas R. Carper, Gary R. Stockbridge, Stacey J. Mobley, Fred C. Sears II, Major General (Ret.) Francis D. Vavala, Gerrett and Tatiana Copeland, Joshua Martin III and Cynthia Primo Martin, and former President Joe Biden and former First Lady Jill Biden. In keeping with tradition, the honoree is held in confidence until the event.
