The 1893 Columbian Exposition World's Fair hosted in Chicago was attended by more than 27 million people, including some of the most prominent people of the time as well as others who would play important roles in the future. From the Ferris Wheel to pancake mix, learn about the many inventions and products first showcased at the Fair that we still enjoy today.
Wisconsin paleontologist and historian Jason Rehorst will discuss the people, the things and the stories that came together to make this event one of the most significant of the time. Presented by Jason Rehorst, join us in a presentation covering the 1893 Columbian Exposition World's Fair held in Chicago, Illinois.
