We hope you can join us for this peaceful Advent Series. This is the 15th year of this intimate series of noonday concerts that has grown with each new year. These approximately 45-50 minute concerts feature both secular and sacred melodies of Christmas and are open to all.
December 4th will feature Dr. Ginger Jones-Robinson, soprano and Casey Childers, pianist. The program will consist of works by Uzee Brown, Jr., Mark Hayes, Giulio Caccinin, Franz Schubert, Pietro Yon, Robert MacGimsey and Jester Hairston.
December 11th will feature Matthew Joyner, tenor and Matthew Young, pianist.
December 18th will feature Shelley Maddox, soprano and Casey Childers, pianists.
First Christian is located at 207 Tarboro Street (corner of Vance and Tarboro Streets).
All concerts are free. Donations are welcomed.
