Here we go! The Josephite Wall Magazine Club is back with another bang. For the 14th time, we’re rolling out a spectacular array of creative events. Embrace the opportunity to unveil your talent and join a celebration of true inspiration. Buckle up!
So have a look at the charming events & fasten your seatbelts for yet another rollercoaster ride that will take you to a world where art meets at a different level.
Categories for Participation:
● Category A : Class 3 – 5 (Inter School)
● Category B : Class 6 – 8 (Inter School)
● Category C : Class 9 – Class 12 [HSC 25 included] (Inter School & College)
Event list :
1. Wall Magazine Submission (Category : A, B, C) :
● This is a team-based event consisting of 2 – 4 members.
● No cross-institutional teams are allowed.
● Wall Magazines must be in Bangla or English.
● Offensive/inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.
● Minimum size of the magazine will be : 6 ft × 3.5 ft.

Category A:
1. From Ancient trade and culture to Mega-City: A Journey Called Dhaka.
প্রাচীন বাণিজ্য কেন্দ্র হতে মহানগরী ঢাকা: এক ঐতিহাসিক যাত্রা।
( একসময়কার শান্তিপূর্ণ ব্যবসাকেন্দ্র কিভাবে হয়ে উঠল জনবহুল ঢাকা মহানগরী—এই রূপান্তরের পেছনের ইতিহাস, ঐতিহ্য ও সমাজের পরিবর্তন আলোকপাত কর। )
2. Woven by Hand, Powered by Heart: The Soul of Our Villages
হাতের কারুকাজে,হৃদয়ের আবেগে গড়া গ্রামবাংলার প্রাণ।
( গ্রামবাংলার মানুষের জীবন, তাদের জীবনের সঙ্গে ওতপ্রোতভাবে জড়িত বিভিন্ন কুটিরশিল্পকে তুলে ধরো।)
3. Tales of Bangladesh’s Rivers
নদীমাতৃক বাংলাদেশের গল্প।
( নদী আমাদের শুধু পরিবেশ না, জীবনের অংশ। প্রত্যেক নদীর নিজের গল্প রয়েছে, বাংলাদেশের প্রধান নদীসমূহের গল্প প্রকাশ কর।)
Category B:
1. Connected or Controlled? The Power of Social Media. .
নিয়ন্ত্রণে নাকি সংযোগে? সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে স্বাগতম।
( সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া আমাদের যোগাযোগকে সহজ করে, আবার কখনও মন্দও বয়ে আনে। এর ভালো-মন্দ প্রভাব বিশ্লেষণ করো। )

2. Where Art Meets Heritage: The Rich Canvas of Bengal
শিল্প আর ঐতিহ্যের মিলনমঞ্চ: সমৃদ্ধশালী বাংলার সংস্কৃতি।
( বাংলার ঐতিহ্যবাহী শিল্পচর্চা আমাদের সংস্কৃতির আয়না। কীভাবে এই শিল্পগুলোর মধ্যেই জীবিত থাকে আমাদের শেকড়। )
3. In Search of Smiles: What Makes the World Truly Happy?
সুখ খুঁজে ফেরে পৃথিবী: সুখের রহস্য কী?
( বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন মানুষ কিভাবে সুখ খোঁজে—তাদের জীবনধারা, সংস্কৃতি ও চিন্তার ভিন্নতায় সুখের অর্থ কী? অর্থ, বিত্ত, বৈভব এসবে কি সুখ নিহিত?)
Category C:
1. Tomorrow’s Reality: How AI is Shaping a Simpler Life
আগামীর বাস্তবতা: কৃত্তিম বুদ্ধিমত্তার হাতে মানবজীবনের চাবিকাঠি।
( কৃত্রিম বুদ্ধিমত্তা কীভাবে মানুষের সিদ্ধান্ত, জীবনযাপন এবং ভবিষ্যৎ নির্ধারণ করছে, তার বাস্তবতা ও সম্ভাবনা যাচাই। )
2. Leaving to Live: The Silent Brain Drain of Bangladesh.
ভালো থাকার জন্য ছেড়ে যাওয়া : দেশ থেকে তরুণদের নীরব বিদায়।
( তরুণদের দেশ ছেড়ে বিদেশে পাড়ি জমানো: কেন দেশ তাদের স্বপ্ন পূরণে ব্যর্থ হচ্ছে?)
3. Revolt or Revolution? Transforming the world in a new perspective .
বিদ্রোহ না বিপ্লব? নতুন দৃষ্টিতে পৃথিবীর রূপান্তর।

2. T - shirt Designing (Category : A, B, C) :
● This is a solo event.
● Time for this event is 1.5 hours.
● T-shirts will be provided by the authority.
● Participants must bring any equipment that is required for the event by themselves.

3. Poster Designing (Category : A) :
● This is a solo event.
● Time for this event is 1.5 hours.
● Participants must bring their own equipments.
● Art paper will be provided by the authority.

4. Art Jamming (Category : B, C) :
● This is a solo event.
● A celebrity artist will be in charge of this event.
● Time for this event is 1.5 hours.
● Participants must bring their own equipments.
● Art paper will be provided by the authority.

5. Optical Illusion Art (Category : B, C) :
● This is a solo & submission-based event.
● The Artwork is going to be evaluated by a panel of judges based on its Creativity, Technique and Quality.
● Cheating, direct plagiarism or use of AI will result in automatic disqualification.
● Participants will have to submit their artworks on our school campus on the mentioned date.

6. Abstract Line Art (Category : B, C) :
● This is a solo & submission-based event.
● There are no themes for this event. Participants can submit any themed abstract line artwork.
● All the artworks must follow the Abstract Line artform.
● Each participant can submit a maximum of 3 artworks. Each artwork must contain a caption.

7. Crafting (Category : A, B, C) :
● This is a solo event.
● The time for this event is 2 hours.
● The theme for this event is Open.
● The event is divided into 2 segments. 1) Paper crafting or Origami for Category A. 2) Open Crafting for Category B & C.
● Participants can use any material for crafting.
● Participants must bring their materials for the craft.

8. Shorachitro (Category : B, C) :
● This is a solo event.
● The time for this event is 1.5 hours.
● The theme for this event is Open.
● A clay pot and necessary guidelines will be provided accordingly.
● Participants must bring the equipments that are required for this event.

9. Rapid Doodles (Category : B, C) :
● This is a team-based event consisting of a maximum of 3 members.
● The time for this event is 1 hour.
● There will be 3 rounds of word showdown in this event. In each word showdown, 3 random words will be shown through the projector for 15 seconds. Participants have to choose one word from those 3 words. After 15 seconds, the projector will be turned off. Then, they will be shown 3 random words again and choose one word like showdown 1. And lastly, the same thing will be repeated that has been mentioned above. With those 3 word showdowns consisting of 3 words in total, participants will have to draw the final scenario.
● There will be 3 words which are inter-connect with each other.
● After starting drawing, participants will get 50 minutes to draw.

10. Bangla Bisharod (Category : C) :
● This is a solo event.
● There will be 2 rounds in this event. 1st round is MCQ & 2nd Round is Extempore Speech.
● In the 2nd Round, each person will get max 90 seconds for extempore speech.

11. Book Based Quiz (Category : A, B, C) :
Category A:

● This is a team-based event consisting of a maximum of 3 members.
● There will be 2 rounds. 1st Round is Written & 2nd Round is Buzzer.
● Time for 1st Round is 30 Minutes & for 2nd Round is 1 hour.
● Top 5 teams will be selected for the 2nd round.
● Cross institution teams are allowed.

● This is a team-based event consisting of a maximum of 3 members.
● There will be 2 rounds. 1st round is Written & 2nd round is Audio Visual Round.
● Time for 1st Round is 30 Minutes & for 2nd Round is 1 hour.
● Top 6 teams will be selected for the 2nd Round.
● Cross institution teams are allowed.

● This is a team-based event consisting of a maximum of 3 members.
● The time for this event is 30 minutes.
● Cross instructional teams are allowed.

14. Treasure Hunt (Category : B, C) :
● This is a team-based event consisting of a maximum of 3 members.
● Cross institution teams are allowed.
● There will be 2 rounds.
● Top 6 teams from each category will be selected for the 2nd round.
● Time for 1st Round is 30 Minutes & for 2nd Round is 1 hour.

15. Scribble (Category : A, B, C) :
● This is a team-based event consisting of a maximum of 3 members.
● There will be 2 rounds in this event. 1st Round is Written & 2nd Round is Drawing.
● Time for 1st Round is 30 Minutes & for 2nd Round is 1.5 hours.
● Cross Institutional team is allowed.

16. Castle in the Air (Category : B, C) :
● This is a solo event.
● The time for this event is 1 hour.
● A Short Film will be shown to the participants. After it finishes, they will have to write about the short film based on their creativity within time.

17. DSLR Photography (Category : B, C) :
● This is a submission-based event.
● Each participant can submit a maximum of 3 photos, each containing a caption.
● The photos must not contain any watermark, logo or frame.
● Participants will have to show a proof of their photos when the frames will be returned.
Selected Participants will have to pay 500 taka for Framing.

18. Mobile Photography (Category : B, C) :
● This is a submission-based event.
● Each participant can submit a maximum of 3 photos, each containing a caption.
● The photos must not contain any watermark, logo or frame.
● Participants will have to show a proof of their photos when the frames will be returned.
Selected Participants will have to pay 500 taka for Framing.

19. Digital Art (Category : B, C) :
● This is a submission-based event.
● The theme for this event is Open.
● Participants are allowed to use any kind of software.
● Participants will have to show a proof of their designs when the frames will be returned.
Selected Participants will have to pay 500 taka for Framing.

20. Calligraphy (Category : B, C) :
● This is a submission-based event.
● Theme for this event is Open
● Participants may write in any language or can be multilingual as well.
● Participants may use any stationery or art tools of their choice to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their work.
● All submissions must be done on A4-sized art paper. The lettering should not exceed more than 3 sentences!
