Join us for the 14th annual GOVX San Diego Half Marathon and 5K - FIVE miles of waterfront, FOUR historic communities, THREE beautiful parks, TWO miles through downtown San Diego, and ONE epic Gaslamp finish!The half marathon starts at 6:50 AM and is limited to 5,000 participants. There is a 3 1/2-hour time limit to complete the half marathon. All participants must maintain a 16:02-minute-per-mile pace or faster throughout the event.
Not up for a half marathon? No problem! Run or walk our exciting 5K in the heart of downtown San Diego. This 3.1-mile race starts in front of the San Diego Convention Center and finishes in the Gaslamp Quarter, just like the half marathon.
The 5K starts at 6:30 AM and is limited to 1,000 participants. There is a 1-hour time limit to complete the 5K. All participants must maintain a 19:21-minute-mile pace or faster throughout the event.
Not able to join us in person? No problem! Virtual options are available for both the half marathon and 5K.
