Everything you Need to Know about Bone Broth

In this 2 hour workshop you will learn, from beginning to end, the best process to making many variations of French stocks. We will also discuss Asian approaches to making broths to better inform us and spawn creativity when we are deciding on the ideal broth for any recipe in the kitchen.

Chef Charlie of Lineage Meals will demonstrate and discuss the process of making an organic bone broth from scratch. Students will engage in conversation regarding flavors, taste the broth, and take home their own 32 oz jar!

• Demonstrated instruction on the process of making bone broth from scratch
• Broth tasting
• Handout with step by step directions, ingredients, and shopping list 
• 32 oz jar of organic bone broth to take home

Educator Bio: As a lifelong cook, my culinary journey spans from childhood Jiffy-Pop sessions with my grandmother to cooking alongside acclaimed chefs in Boston and San Diego. In addition to managing kitchens, including at the Waldorf School of San Diego, I’ve cultivated Lineage Meals, a Modular Meal service, prioritizing ancestral-based nutrition for busy professionals and families. Embracing my role as a father, I advocate for wholesome, quality ingredients, evident in my dedication to teaching about the benefits of bone broth. Through Lineage Meals, I aim to simplify family meal planning while promoting holistic wellness through nutrient-dense, high-quality, and delicious food.
