Join us for a grand farewell to the unique and reliable backbone of Adelaide Hills metro bus services; the extra long and impressive 14.5 metre rigid buses.
With the retirement of these buses looming in the near future, BPASA has arranged a fascinating farewell tour visiting all the key areas these buses served both currently and historically, in service with Mt Barker Passenger Service, Hills Transit, Transit Plus and currently SouthLink.
3310 will be our bus for the day, it is most unique in that it wears an attractive 'modified' version of the Adelaide Metro livery. This bus was the first low floor 14.5m bus in service in SA, and was also tested on the Obahn when it was near new! 😲
The tour will start from King William Street at Elder Park at 10am on Saturday the 16th of August (the day before our AGM and Bus Rally), cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
