Since 2023, the Pasadena and St Marys Action Group have hosted an annual verge workshop in St Marys Street to talk about verge garden design.
St Marys Street neighbours have been learning together and landscaping with a variety of native seeds and seedlings.
Local resident Glenn will be sharing the successes and challenges of this street project and is passionate about the potential kilometers of urban land that could be greener, cooler and provide habitat to insects and other fauna.
This will also be a chance to help establish another verge garden in this street and perhaps be inspired to start your own!
After the workshop, feel free to wander to the nearby Pasadena Community Centre and keep talking about plants, soil and other neighbourly topics.
