What wishes have you been holding quietly in your heart?
As Yule approaches, we will gather at the Hearth to reflect on the year behind us and make room for what is ready to unfold.
We will begin with a cacao ceremony, shared with the intention of opening our hearts and settling into connection. A guided meditation will offer space to soften the noise of everyday life, listen inward, and open ourselves to possibilities we may not yet have given ourselves permission to imagine.
Together, we will explore Rauhnächte, the twelve nights around the turning of the year in German-speaking and Alpine traditions, and the modern thirteen-wishes practice inspired by this season of reflection, folklore, and anticipation.

This practice invites you to consider how you want your life to feel. What would you like to nurture? What are you ready to leave behind? Where might you welcome more love, creativity, connection, or a sense of belonging?
There is something meaningful about giving those quiet hopes words. It asks us to be honest about what matters, to loosen our grip on how everything must unfold, and to recognise the part we can play in tending our own dreams.
During our gathering, you will learn about the traditions, meaning, and symbolism surrounding this practice, with thoughtful guidance to help you shape intentions that feel personal and true. You will leave with your wishes prepared and a clear understanding of how to continue at home.
Your gathering includes:
• An opening cacao ceremony.
• A guided meditation to open yourself to possibilities.
• Incense for your practice at home.
• A jar to hold your thirteen wishes.
• A special pen to write them with.
• Complete instruction and guidance.
• Light snacks and tea to enjoy as we gather.
Come as you are, even if you do not yet know what to wish for. Sometimes a warm, welcoming space and a little stillness are where the words begin.
