Named for the town’s charter year, the 1261 Festival plans to be a celebration of Macclesfield’s creativity and community. We’ll be offering live music, workshops, exhibitions, activities, street theatre, walking tours and loads more. As part of the festival weekend, on Saturday 29th June we’ll have the One World Parade heading through town, showcasing community groups from every corner of Macc and over the next couple of weeks we’ll be letting you know how your group can take part.
From Treacle to Silk, Pandas to Potatoes, and Mayall to Curtis we’ve got a lot that makes us Macclesfield - so let’s put on a bit of a show.
