National Rescue Test for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC)

The NRASTC is a supervision and rescue qualification for teachers working on the poolside or in the water during programmed activities, such as a swimming lesson. This is not a Lifeguard qualification.

The qualification is endorsed by the Swim England, the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches and the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity and recognised in 'Managing Health and Safety in Swimming Pools' as being appropriate for those supervising programmed activities.
