I’m excited to offer a BOYS ONLY book club discussion of "Lies Boys Believe: And the Epic Quest for Truth" by Erin and Jason Davis!
This discussion is open to elementary and younger middle school boys. The recommended reading level is grades 3–6, but it can also be a great option for younger boys when read together with a parent.
Lunch will be provided!

About the Book:
"Lies Boys Believe: And the Epic Quest for Truth" is a faith-based, engaging guide that helps boys recognize common lies they may believe and replace them with God’s truth.
Using a creative blend of storytelling, humor, and graphic-style elements, the book takes readers on an adventure where they encounter real-life situations and discover important biblical truths. Each chapter highlights a specific lie, such as “God is mad at me,” “It’s not my fault,” or “I can’t control my temper”, and contrasts it with truth from Scripture.
Through relatable examples, reflection questions, and practical application, boys will learn how to:
- Identify false beliefs
- Understand and apply God’s truth
- Grow in self-control, honesty, and responsibility
- Develop a stronger relationship with God
