We are so excited to welcome Lisa Macri, M.S., CCC-SLP of Dynamic Speech Services for an informative and interactive caregiver workshop on Wednesday, July 15th from 10:00–10:45 AM at Busy Bees Playhouse!
Whether your child uses gestures, signs, AAC, words, or full sentences, this workshop will provide practical tools to help support communication through everyday play and routines.
✨ Topics Include:
✅ How communication develops through play
✅ The building blocks of communication
✅ Encouraging speech and language during daily activities
✅ Supporting communication through movement and play
✅ Strategies for children with a variety of communication styles and abilities
✅ Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
🎯 You Will Leave With:
• Practical strategies you can use immediately
• Real-life examples using toys and activities
• Ideas for supporting communication at home and in the community
• A parent resource handout
