Hello Legion Family,
Our next OneBlood Blood Drive is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th from 9am to 3pm at Post 135. There is no substitute for blood, and it cannot be manufactured in a lab. The only source for patients in need of a transfusion is volunteer blood donations which have a limited shelf life. The supply must constantly be replenished by generous blood donors. Only 3% of those who are eligible actually donate blood. Donating blood only takes a little of your time, and it can mean a lifetime for patients in need. Donating also supports the Savannah Post 135 Mission by giving back to the community. Please make an appointment at the link below or contact Jeff Balkom.
