Join us as we kick off our 2026 Summer Preaching Series with one of Asbury Memorial's dearest friends, Rabbi Robert Haas, on Sunday, July 12 at 11:00 AM.
Rabbi Haas has been serving Savannah's Congregation Mickve Israel since 2012 and is widely known as an inspiring teacher, gifted storyteller, community leader, and occasional comedian. But for the Asbury Memorial family, he is much more than an honored guest speaker—he is a cherished friend.
Rabbi Haas and Rev. Billy Hester have shared a long friendship rooted in mutual respect, laughter, and a commitment to building bridges across faith traditions. It is always a joy to welcome Rabbi Haas back to Asbury, where his warmth, wisdom, and unique perspective have enriched our congregation for many years.
As we begin another summer of hearing diverse voices and fresh perspectives, we can think of no better person to start the journey. Whether you've heard Rabbi Haas many times before or will be meeting him for the first time, you're in for a meaningful and memorable morning.
