Step into this iridescent celebration of the English language and immerse yourself in a vibrant realm of lexical excellence. With 19 unique segments, sharpen your mind, hone your skills, and create lasting memories through friendly yet fierce competition!
Below is a concise overview of these events, setting the stage for your exhilarating journey with us. To help you navigate, we’ve broken down the categories so you can identify the segments that best suit your interests:

🟢𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
🔶All participants must pay 200tk for 3 segments. For any additional segments, participants must pay 100tk per additional segment.
🔶For team segments, each member must register individually before forming a team with other registered participants. Teams may include students from different institutions, but all members must belong to the same category.
🔶Mega Quiz registration will occur on the day of the segment. A team must pay 500tk in order to participate.
🔶The Art of Detection, & Scrabble registration will be done through different links. The individual posts of these segments with further details will be published in due time.

🔶The Art of Detection (Team)(S, C {Combined})
Crack clues, chase leads, and let logic guide you to the truth in this case study & treasure hunt crossover event! In the first round, teams will be given a criminal case, where they must deduce the truth of the situation. The top 6 teams will move on to a treasure hunt round!

🔶Scrabble (Solo)(S, C, U {Combined})
Strategise, spell, and score your way to victory in the ultimate battle of words in this classic board game, where participants will go head-to-head and test their vocabulary to the fullest. Participate with a chance to make it to bigger stages!

An all-time classic segment where participants test their overall English abilities and push them to their absolute limits!
🔶Poem Recitation (Solo)(S, C, U)
Eloquently express the emotions of exquisite poems on stage! The poems will be specified shortly in a separate post.
🔶Wordplay (Solo)(S, C)
Want to have a dance with words? Then this is the segment for you! Test your way with words in a written segment containing Anagrams, Crosswords and more!
🔶Extempore Speech (Solo)(S, C)
Think on your feet and turn randomised ideas into powerful words that portray you as the ultimate speaker!
🔶Pop Panoramic Quiz (Solo)(S, C)
The quintessential segment for those versed in the ways of pop culture. Containing questions from movies, music, anime, & games, test your knowledge about the topics which entertain us every day!
🔶Textbook & Grammar Quest (Solo)(S, C)
Perhaps you fancy studying the academic texts? Well, look no further! In this segment, we will test your in-depth knowledge of the “English For Today” textbook, as well as test your grammatical abilities.
🔶Instant Story Writing (Solo)(S, C)
Test your quick wits and craft a unique yet compelling story in a limited amount of time with a limited amount of paper.
🔶Spell Master (Solo)(S, C)
Put your spelling skills to the ultimate test and claim the crown of letters! In the first round, correctly spell a list of reasonably difficult words which will be given audibly. In the final round, selected participants will have to participate in a stage round in front of judges.
🔶Scrapbook (Solo)(S, C)
Make a physical book that unleashes your creativity with stories & visuals that leap off the page! Topics will be given soon.
🔶Rush Hour Columnist (Team)(S, C, U)
Do you work well under pressure? Then sign up for the ultimate time crunch! A prompt will be revealed on the spot, and teams of two will dive straight into research, discussion, and drafting. Participants will have one hour to write a complete article digitally, using real-time research and optional visual elements where relevant.
🔶Essay Submission (Solo)(S, C)(Combined)
Weave words into powerful essays that leave a lasting impression. 1500 words on the specified topics, which will be given soon.
🔶Review Submission (Solo)(S, C, U)
400 words to critique, analyse, and express your thoughts with flair and precision. The topics will be given soon.
🔶Team Quiz (Team)(S, C)
Team up, think fast, and prove your collective knowledge reigns supreme! This general knowledge-based quiz will happen in two rounds, where the first round will be a written round, and the selected teams will make it to the second round, which will be a buzzer round.
🔶Book-based Quiz (Team)(S, C, U)(Combined)
Dive into fan-favourite reads and let your collective literary mastery shine! The selected books will be announced in the respective segment post in due time.
🔶Wall Magazine (Team)(S, C)
Collaborate to create a visual and literary showcase for all to admire. The dimensions of the wall magazine and the topics will be announced shortly.
🔶Mega Quiz (Team)(S, C, U)(Combined)
A grand audio-visual quiz where teams will compete against eachother in the domain of general knowledge for an ultimate prize!

🟢𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
🔶All participants are requested to maintain their institutional dress code. This rule does not apply to university students.
🔶It is mandatory to carry your institutional ID card during the entire fest.
🔶 Only registered participants may take part in events.
🔶 Team composition must remain unchanged throughout the competition.
🔶 Participants must report to the designated venue at the scheduled start time.
🔶 Any form of misconduct, disorderly behaviour, verbal abuse, harassment, or disruption of the event environment will lead to immediate expulsion from the fest.
🔶 Participants must follow all instructions given by event officials at all times.
🔶 The use of electronic devices, smart gadgets, notes, external materials, or unauthorised resources during events is strictly prohibited unless explicitly permitted.
🔶Any cheating, usage of AI or falsehood is highly discouraged.
🔶 No participant shall question the judges’ decisions during or after the event.
🔶 Any participant found in possession of prohibited items that contradict the academic, ethical, or institutional spirit of the fest will lead to immediate expulsion from the fest, regardless of intent or usage.
🔶 The organising committee is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
🔶 Any damage to venue property caused by a participant will be penalised and compensated at the discretion of the authority.
🔶 Exploiting any ambiguity or technicality for unfair advantage will result in disqualification.
🔶 Claiming technical errors, ignorance of rules, or unintentional violations will not be accepted as valid excuses.
🔶The organising authority reserves the right to amend the rules and schedule if necessary.
