Navigating the Ethics of Early Screening and Autism Identification

Info: Dr. Cascio will present findings from focus groups with autistic adults and parents of autistic people about the ethical issues surrounding the pursuit of autism screening efforts in young infants. The presentation will also focus on the way participants described the impact of the current political climate on their perspectives about autism screening and diagnosis.
