Practice with Confidence: Leveling Up Veterinary Teams is a collaborative CE experience designed to help veterinary professionals strengthen team utilization, improve workflow efficiency, and practice with greater confidence through a clearer understanding of licensure and scope of practice. Bringing together veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and team members for a shared learning experience, the program focuses on practical, real-world knowledge and strategies that empower individuals to work to their full potential and to the ceiling of their license. Through sessions focused on delegation, leadership communication, risk management, workforce sustainability, and emerging animal health threats, participants will explore evidence-based approaches to optimizing team performance while maintaining high standards of patient care. Participants will leave with actionable tools and follow-up opportunities to support long-term implementation and success.
The event will feature eight dynamic speakers, including keynote speaker . Through Project Street Vet, the nonprofit he founded, Dr. Stewart provides free veterinary care, treatment, and support to the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness and financial hardship. Drawing from his nationally recognized work on the front lines of community veterinary medicine, he will share powerful stories that highlight the healing power of pets, the resilience of the human spirit, and the profound impact of compassion. His keynote will inspire attendees to reconnect with the purpose that brought them to the profession while setting an energizing and meaningful tone for the day.
From preparing for emerging and transboundary animal diseases to strengthening delegation practices, maximizing veterinary technician utilization, and navigating change within the profession, attendees will gain practical insights that can be immediately applied within their practice teams, equipping them to build stronger teams, deliver exceptional patient care, and lead with confidence.
