10th Annual Dos Rios Watershed Cleanup

Join us on October 10th, starting at 9 AM at Prince Solms Park, for the 10th Annual Dos Rios Watershed Cleanup. Each year, the City hosts a city-wide litter cleanup event in an effort to reduce the litter in our creeks and rivers and to raise awareness of the importance of keeping our water resources clean and healthy. For the event, volunteers arrive at Prince Solms Park to check in with city staff and to select a cleanup location. We can offer cleanup locations in city parks throughout the city. We provide almost everything you need:
A Dos Rios Event T-shirt
Cleanup supplies such as mesh bags, trash grabbers, and gloves
Breakfast, coffee, and snacks will be provided (while supplies last)

Please note that volunteers may need to walk into locations with uneven surfaces and tall vegetation.
It is recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, a hat, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt to protect your skin from sharp objects, insects, and the sun. It is also advised to bring your own bug spray and sunscreen.
