1001 Frames
About this Event
The second one is 1001 Frames which also premiered at the Berlinale and has since traveled to many other festivals and received several awards including the Golden Alexander at TIFF.
It is a unique and timely film that has been shot underground in Iran with twelve women and provides a different view of Iranian women and Gen Z.It explores abuse of power that as we know is sadly more relevant than before, and because of the sensitivity of the subject matter and the safety of our actresses in Iran will not be released online and is only available for in person screenings.
The director (Mehrnoush Alia) and the actor (Mohammad Aghebati) will be present at the screenings for the Q&A.
