1-Day Beginner Sewing Workshop

If you are curious about learning how to sew, this workshop is for you! During the 3-hour workshop, students will learn the basics of working with a sewing machine and create their own tote bag to take home with them.

All tools (including sewing machines) are provided. If you'd like to bring your own fabric, please bring 1 yard. Otherwise, the studio has some fabric you can choose from (limited selection).

Come prepared to learn and create your own project in a day!

Instructor Bio: Avery first learned to sew at 7 years old and enjoys various types of crafting such as sewing, ceramics, knitting, and 3D printing. She is currently a graduate student at Vanderbilt University and has been a Make Nashville member since 2022.
