Relax and stop trying to force art!
Create a little Zen in your life as you learn how to go with the flow and create a beautiful Zen painting with Chinese black ink on rice paper. Zen painting is a style of painting that is influenced by the simplicity and spontaneity of Asian painting. In this class, you will create a Zen abstract painting on rice paper and then cut and mount it onto primed wood boards. You will then learn how to finish and protect your painting.
At the end of the class, you should have two completed painting. One to keep and, we hope, one to donate to our 6x6 Fundraiser!
No prior experience is needed; all materials are provided. Bring a little Zen into your life and enjoy the flow of art!
