Ballet/Gymnastics (Ages 5–7)This exciting class combines ballet and gymnastics to help children build strength, coordination, and confidence while having fun and staying active! Each class includes 30 minutes of ballet and 25 minutes of gymnastics.
During the ballet portion, students will begin with stretches and warm-ups before working on ballet technique at the barre and on the center floor. Dancers will begin putting together combinations and practicing progressions across the floor, finishing the lesson with a fun song.
During the gymnastics portion, participants will learn tumbling skills on the spring floor and practice techniques on the uneven bars, balance beam, trampoline, and tumbl trak. Children will develop strength, flexibility, and balance while also learning how to work well with others.
