A perfect introduction to the world of sewing! In this fun and hands-on workshop, children will learn the basics of hand sewing while creating their own mini project to take home and be proud of.
In this session, kids will:
Learn how to thread a needle and use simple stitches
Practice sewing safely and confidently
Create a fun beginner-friendly project (like a felt shape, soft toy, or badge)
Decorate with buttons, trims or embroidery to make it their own
🧵 No experience needed – this workshop is designed especially for children who are new to sewing or want to build on the basics in a fun, relaxed environment.
All materials are provided, and the session is suitable for children aged 6+
This is held at Devonmade, 142 Torquay Road, Paignton, TQ3 2AH
An adult must be present for all of the class
