🦬 Back on the Range: The Return of Bison to TexasOnce they roamed the plains by the millions. Then they were almost gone. Now, bison are making a comeback.
This July, Jared Hall from the Fort Worth Nature Center joins us to talk about bison: their history on the Texas landscape, what was lost when they disappeared, and what their return means for native grasslands and wildlife today.
📍 Close to Home: The rolling prairies of Erath and Palo Pinto Counties were once prime bison territory, Comanche hunting routes followed these herds right through the land many of us live and work on today.
Come ready to see your own backyard in a whole new light.
