Get ready for a day filled with gumbo pots bubbling, spices in the air, and friendly competition!

⏰ Teams may arrive after 1 PM to set up & start cookin’
🍲 Categories:
• Gumbo
• Open Dish
• Dessert
Enter one, two, or all three! For overall grand champion you must enter all three.
💰 Entry Fees
• Gumbo – $50
• Open Dish – $25
• Dessert – $25
🏆 Prizes (Each Category)
• 1st Place: 80% payout, trophy, & bragging rights
• 2nd Place: 20% payout & trophy
• 3rd Place: Trophy
🔥 Rules 🔥
• Gumbo must be cooked on-site
• Teams responsible for their own cookware, burners, pots, and supplies.
• Roll in anytime after 1 PM to fire up your setup and start stirrin’.
• Must turn in 5 pieces of your dessert/open dish in each container for judging.
• no garnishing of gumbo allowed - I.e. rice, potato salad etc..
Turn - In Times are as follows:
5pm - open
6pm - Dessert
7pm - Gumbo
Awards immediately following tallying of the scores.
