Landgard Bluff to the South Mole
Join us for a beautiful coastal loop tracking right from the downriver tip of Corliss Island to the South Mole breakwater! This is a local hike, so there is no need to register—just turn up at the time and location stated below.
This circuit takes us past old wharf relics, the port, airport perimeter, shipwrecks, and WWII pillboxes, returning via a 2.5 km beach walk and a scenic climb over Landgard Road for sweeping city views.
Please Note: Features a short 1.5m climb down to the river bank. Shorter option is 50% self-guided on the return leg.

🟢 Full Loop: The complete loop passing the historic port landmarks, coastal dunes, WWII pillboxes, a 2.5 km stretch along the beach, and the climb up Landgard Road.
🟡 Shorter Option: A shorter version of the hike is available for those wanting a lighter day, which covers just the section past Landgard Bluff. Please note that the return leg of this route will be self-guided.
