Portsmouth grew significantly in the Tudor period when it needed to supply Henryβs hungry troops, with bakeries and breweries springing up all over the town.
Meet the Tudor cook
Monday to Friday | 1130, 1230, 1330 and 1415 (not including 1st or 9th April)
Come and meet our Tudor cook and the Tudor townsfolk and discover what was being dished up both during Lenten fasting and Easter itself, before voting for your favourite!
Please note that for hygiene reasons no food will be available for consumption during this activity.
Spoon making and optional egg decorating

Make your own Tudor spoon and decorate an egg in our learning centre, before taking part in our very own egg and spoon quest!
