Want something active and social to do on a Thursday night?
Come try Ultimate Frisbee at our free beginner-friendly sessions at Ākau Tangi Recreation Centre.
Ultimate is a fun, fast-moving team sport played with a flying disc. It is easy to learn, very social, and a great way to meet new people while getting some exercise.
These relaxed sessions are designed for people who have never played before or want a casual introduction. Experienced players will be around to help you learn the basics and get involved in some friendly games.
Each Thursday is a stand-alone session, so you can drop in whenever it suits you. No commitment required and no need to attend every week.
Most people who come along are in their 20s and 30s, but anyone curious to try ultimate is very welcome.
Bring a friend, try something new, and see why so many people love ultimate.
