Witness a Rare Martial Arts Milestone
Before the excitement of the Kickin’ in the Valley Tournament begins, Russellville Martial Arts America invites the community to witness an extraordinary evening of martial arts tradition.
On Friday, August 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Master John Hubbard, owner of Russellville Martial Arts America for more than 35 years, will test for the rank of Eighth Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
Joining him will be several accomplished martial artists traveling from across the region as they also test for advanced black belt ranks. These examinations represent decades of dedication, discipline, leadership, and service to the martial arts.
Unlike many martial arts demonstrations, master-level black belt testing is rarely seen by the public. It is a unique opportunity to witness the skill, perseverance, and lifelong commitment required to reach the highest levels of Taekwondo.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
